Basic Nerdy is a one-person 3D-printing shop in Utah making original designs and fan-inspired crafts, figures, and collectibles. Some pieces ship display-finished. Most ship as clean, primer-ready blanks — because half the fun is painting them yourself.

The paint-it-yourself angle is the whole idea. A blank is cheaper, more personal, and a better evening than anything that arrives finished. We design pieces specifically to take paint well — smooth surfaces, crisp detail, minimal cleanup — and pair them with tutorials so you're never staring at a figure wondering where to start.
