How to Host a Paint Night With Blank Figures
Blanks aren't just for solo projects — they make a great group activity. Here's how to run a low-stress paint night for friends or an event.
A set of paintable blanks turns into a whole evening with friends. We do bulk runs for exactly this, but you can pull one off at home with almost nothing.
What to set out
- One primed blank per person (we can ship them pre-primed for events)
- A cheap acrylic paint set and a few brush sizes
- A cup of water per person, paper towels, and a scrap of cardboard as a palette
- Good lighting
Keep it relaxed
The trick to a fun paint night is low stakes. Nobody’s making a museum piece. Lay down a base coat, let people experiment with dry-brushing for highlights, and let the figures be a little weird. That’s the charm.
